Welcome to the binary home of Pearl drums artist Nick Campbell, a.k.a. “Analogbeatmaker” on the Pearl Drummer’s Forum.

For any drummers out there, Dante Roberson (the drummer for the late night t.v. show “Weekends at the DL” on Comedy Central) contacted me about doing joint drum clinics. We are in the process of scheduling them and hopefully will have dates to put up soon. We’ll be doing them across the country so go to your local drum shop and get them to contact Pearl about bringing us in.

I have posted the pic from the Tennessee Jed sessions (with Robert Sledge of Ben Folds Five fame)...the analogbeatmachine in all it’s amber glory. It’s the first time I’ve ever brought more than a four piece to a session but the songwriter wanted me to “do my thing”. That was a nice change and much appreciated.

Nick is currently a member of the Raleigh based band Jam Pain Society. He is also available for recording sessions, “fill-in” gigs, clinics, drum teching and drum lessons. To find out about availability and prices contact Nick at nick@jampainsociety.com

The Vints

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by! My band “Jam Pain Society” will be opening for Ace Frehley Dec. 27th, 28th, 29th and the 31st. We hope this leads to many more shows on his upcoming tour. Due to my lack of free time I am unable update this site as often as I would like. So, if there is anyone out there that would be willing to manage this site, please drop me a line on my guestbook. Also, I will be posting new pics of my hybrid kit (acoustic and electronic) in the near future.

I now have video clips on the Analog Moving Visuals page. Three are clips that have been up before but one is a new video from a clinic I did a few months ago. It’s almost 1gig so it’ll be a long download. You can download a free player here if you have any problems playing the clips. I hope you all enjoy them!
